FEB 2012 :: STUDIO CLOSING

As of Feb. 29 2012 Chemical Sound Recording Studio will no longer be open to the public. We will be taking bookings, as usual, untill March.

After over 6 years of owning and operating Chemical Sound, Dean Marino and Jay Sadlowski are retiring the studio and its name. Dean and Jay will continue to work out of the location, but the studio will no longer exist as a public facility. If you want Dean and/or Jay to produce your album, please contact them directly.

Please direct any questions or concerns to Dean via email.

If you have master tapes currently stored at our facility, please contact Dean and arrange a time to pick them up. The studio will continue to function privately for an indefinite time, but we can not guarantee the storage of your tapes. Please come and claim your tapes before we are forced to recycle them.

Chemical Sound has been in business for 20 years. Over the years the studio has played host to many important Canadian and International recording artists. Since 2006 Dean and Jay have worked with great bands like The Black Keys, Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, Tokyo Police Club, Born Ruffians, C'MON, Sweet Thing, The Elwins, EIMIC, Attack in Black and many many more.

We want to thank everyone who has supported us over the years.
